Blinks or flashes (choose your term) off and on rapidly when it hits that limit.

on the bright side i was supprised to see how stable my car is at that speed probably my 225/50/r16 tires, o well i am still proud of my bonne, it only took like 10 minutes to get up to that speed, so atleast i have some acceleration......lol
btw...just wanted to mention that i don't think anyone here is attempting to encourage others to experiment with their cars' max speed. it is super unsafe to reach these speeds on public roads regardless of how stable one'* car may "feel". just a disclaimer in response to comments similar to the aforementioned one ^ up there.

Easy to get there in a 2000+ even stock switched over to KM/H as its only 124 mph

We have a member in stationed in Germany who has hit 146MPH on the autobahn,... of course I would never exceed the posted limit on a public highway.

The first digit of the HUD isn't capable of displaying a 2. Only a 1. So after 199, it just flashes.

It'* very annoying every morning on my commute.
