TIRES!!!

Okay, so I got my hand on a set of tires for free, I just want to know if they will fit on my 93 bonneville, stock size is 225/60/16 these are 235/6016!!! If they wont fit, ill just get rid of them, what do you guys think!!

yeah those are gonna be too wide. anytime you make a turn your tires are gonna be rubbing on tthe wheel well. if you have a truck you would be straight

theyre not going to be too wide, most bonnevilles here can support up to a 245 tire, 235 will work no problem....

it'll throw off your speedo a bit.

When your speedo says 60, you're actually travelling 61.1

They are not too wide. They are not going to rub. I run 245's on the Zilla, and I'm running that exact same 235/60/16 on the SLE right now.

I'd base my choice on whether to run them more on what brand and model they are, not on the size.

Sleeper93 01-30-2008 10:44 AM

oh well its just mine then. it must have to do with the wheel well damage that was on the car.

They are a cooper performance tire, but the have 75% tread left, cant turn that down!!

Jim W 01-30-2008 11:21 AM

They won't affect your speedometer either, any changes will be so minor you wont even notice.

I thought we could run up to a 255?

willwren 01-30-2008 03:03 PM

YOU can. The 92-99 will need minor modification to run 255. I almost went that route, but it wasn't worth another 35% in tire cost for me to go from 245 to 255.
