TIRES!!!
Okay, so I got my hand on a set of tires for free, I just want to know if they will fit on my 93 bonneville, stock size is 225/60/16 these are 235/6016!!! If they wont fit, ill just get rid of them, what do you guys think!!

yeah those are gonna be too wide. anytime you make a turn your tires are gonna be rubbing on tthe wheel well. if you have a truck you would be straight

it'll throw off your speedo a bit.
When your speedo says 60, you're actually travelling 61.1 |
They are not too wide. They are not going to rub. I run 245's on the Zilla, and I'm running that exact same 235/60/16 on the SLE right now.
I'd base my choice on whether to run them more on what brand and model they are, not on the size. |
oh well its just mine then. it must have to do with the wheel well damage that was on the car.
|
They are a cooper performance tire, but the have 75% tread left, cant turn that down!!
|
They won't affect your speedometer either, any changes will be so minor you wont even notice.

I thought we could run up to a 255?
|
YOU can. The 92-99 will need minor modification to run 255. I almost went that route, but it wasn't worth another 35% in tire cost for me to go from 245 to 255.
|
so what size will give it a more wider stance?

I'm curious to know what the widest tires I could run on mine are.. prolly 235's,
I have kumho ecsta as/x's right now.. i'm not too happy with them in the snow, but other than that they're pretty okay :) next will be falken ziex ze 512's or goodyear assurance triple tread |
Eric, I have those tires on the SLE. (the green car in my sig).
While mine are wider than yours, they are EXCELLENT in the snow and ice. I'm very impressed. Try dropping 5psi in the fronts. |
Pirelli p4 all seasons?
Im trying to find some new tires to replace the "el-cheapos" i have on my 00 se. Ive been looking around and I am leaning towards the Pirelli P4 All seasons. They got pretty good reviews everywhere I looked, and have an 85000 mile treadwear rating. Just wondering if these tires are a good choice (i found them for 70 on tirerack.com), and im also looking at some american racing rims (coils probably) thanks.
