Default Tires??????????

I was wondering how much the ride would change by changing to different rubber.
I work for Cooper- Standard and get a discount on tires. I was told that the ride would be harder cause Cooper tires are made of harder rubber. Right now i have stock Goodyear tires that are still ok but when i go to buy again i was thinking about the Cooper Tires but not if it changes the ride. Any thoughts???

Personally, I do not think the ride would be substantially affected (assuming that you stay with the stock size tire, and keep the air pressure where it should be). Go for the discount!

My parents run Coopers on their 2001 Impala and she rides like a dream.

How much are the Coopers after your discount?

For comparison, Falken Zeix'*(my next set of rubber) are $60 a tire before mounting, and I guarantee they are a better handling tire than anything Cooper puts out.

Not a flame on Cooper, if you don't drive like a maniac , they'll definitely do for ya.

I put Coopers on my Olds that I had and the ride was just as smooth. I say go for the better bargain.
