so on my car its kindof annoying to check the ps level. on laurens, its damn near impossible. that 3.8 being in that engine compartment, i can barley even feel the cap with the tip of my finger. its not whining or anything like that, but id still like to flush it. has anyone with big hands figured it out yet? or should i just lather my arm in soap and shove my hand down there? lol.. thanks alot guys.
The only thing I could find is this info on how to flush your PS system......hope this helps..

just lather your arm in soap and shove your hand down there... if you make it elbow deep.. your in too far!
Seriously... with the alt right there.. be careful that your sleeves, or anything are not hanging down as the belt will pull you in if they contact it'* one of the hardest to get too PS

Hey John, is that like the same things as shoving your arm way down deep inside a cow? I'd post a pic, but its breakfast time for others.
And I just noticed, this was my 10,000th post.

You can remove the dog bones and tilt the engine forward a bit. I was able to tip mine forward enough to remove the rear exhast manifold through the top. Removing the crossbar frees up a *^&* ton of space too. To help tip as much as possible i removed the dog bones and placed a jack carefully on the rear lip of the trans and lifted a bit (be very gentle).
I had two customers come in with Impala'* that had the 3800 at the same time, both needing PS fluid. Both engines had been running and were scorching hot. One customer helped the other, and got to it by wrapping his arm in an old shirt to keep from getting burned.
I'm so glad that the 3800 in the Bonne is so much easier to work with, those dogbone mounts are horrible.

I feel your pain, mine is a pain to get to as well, I can just reach it to get the cap off on my 96' PA.
Mike, thanks for reminding me what I seen on The Incredible Dr. Pol last night, he was checking cows to see if they were pregnant, and apparently the best way to tell is to reach way up in the pooper chute.
