Anyone here using a synthetic transmission fluid? If so what brand? I am thinking of switching .

Bad idea on higher-mileage transmissions. If you're already missing some friction material on your bands, the 'slicker' synthetic can further degrade your trans by not letting the remaining friction material grip.

Yeah, I wouldn't recommend it unless it'* always run on synthetic, or if you plan on rebuilding the tranny. Stick with the regular stuff. It'* A LOT cheaper.
