Default Is this a Supercharged '93 SE?

http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...or=&cardist=70

Is this one of the super-rare supercharged SEs? If so, it might possibly be worth putting up with the bullshit dealer crap to get something like that. I'd love a Bonnie with none of the fancy electronic, luxury stuff except a SC 3800 That'* actually what I'd love to have. Tell me what you guys think...

I don't believe it was an option in 93, but it could have been possible to order one that way. Call and verify, or ask for an underhood photo. It may also be swapped aftermarket.

Wait, if it'* a transplant, the drivetrain can't handle it, can it? What codes should I look for to make sure it'* a SC SE, and not a transplanted SC SE? The SEs with the factory supercharger were beefed up for it, right? Thanks again for the info

Those look like bronze-accented blade-type alloys, too. Does that indicate anything? Thanks

Get the VIN and if the eigth digit is a #1 it is a Supercharged car -making it the rarest I've ever heard of. If the eigth digit is a letter "L" iit is just the run of the mill SE, with the nicer gold 10-spoke rims (my personal favorite for rims in 1992-1993).

the RPO codes should have L67 instead of the L27 listed

Just called the salesman. Sounded knowledgeable enough, was sure it has a supercharger, was sure it was a '93, they say they want $3000, plus tax and title, of course He said he'* going to get me the VIN and the RPO codes tomorrow. So we'll see If it IS a SC SE (What should the vin look like for a SCed SE, BTW? I want to make sure it'* not an SSE or SSEi. It has an SE grill, though...) I'll seriously consider buying it Anyway, are they as reliable as any other Bonne, though? Mainly, they ARE beefed up for the higher output engine, right? How could I check, being that you guys say this might be so rare? Thanks again for all the info, guys

No way it'* SCed. I bet if it was an option, you would need to get it with the SLE package, like in 95, etc.
