Default STP air filter

Has anyone used STP air filters in their Bonneville? I"m using one right now after having a K&N and it almost seems like I've lost a bit of performance. I only ask because I didn't really seem to notice a different going from a stock filter to a K&N, but now almost "feel" a difference going from the K&N, to the STP. The STP seems to have a lot better filtration however. It has a LOT of ridges in the filter (atleast 25) whereas the K&N had only around 10 or so. So, has anyone else used them? What'* your impression of them?

You will notice a downgrade because K&N filter is supposed to be the best on the market. Anything else is just rubbish.

my friend had one in his ricemobile, i wouldnt doubt it to have better filtration since it was deifnitley a thicker filter material and seemed denser, but as comes with such things it'll have lower airflow, i'd rather have a k&n and clean my maf every once and awhile than have the stp
