you definitely can modify badges if you have the talent.....and black is a great colour to hide solder marks on chrome!

even if it is a "creation" it still looks cool!

while you may have a point of the soldering consider this.....

the "bonneville" is only featured in that particular font is the SLE badge and its in a different spot in the SLE badge (it takes up all the space)

the length of the SLE badge is a different length (shorter) than the SSEi badge....so there is no way that the Bonneville was cut off a SLE badge and added to the SSEi
