Love to make it out there, but hate the drive....
Just got back from my excursion to the Claims Adjuster with a swing by the Custom Shop. Good news all around. Estimate was $3,374.86.(Super High)(Progressive Rocks) Nate, the owner of the Custom Shop who did the Paint Job said he would honor the estimate without me paying the Deductable. And be a nice guy about the Red Candy bleaching over 4 years. Their going to wet sand the Clear Candy Paint on top, and reapply the translucent Red Candy thats bleached out over 4 years, and then reapply the Clear with pearlflake. He says it will not only look new but have even further depth than it already has. Not only getting the car fixed but what amounts to a new paint job.

Ya, At least until my policy re-ups in April. I bet it will be a wee bit more. Awesome to get two problems cured for the price of one. Especially when someone else is paying.

Wasted. It is nothing short of amazing the fender didn't get hurt, nor moved. The right corner is totally demo'ed otherwise. The adjuster was grimacing throughout the claims process. GXP body parts don't come cheap, and I told him I wouldn't accept anything less than GM OEM for a car that stickered for $40k. They based the policy on that, pay up.
Bumper cover~$901.05
Impact absorber~$164.63
Headlamp assembly~$494.05
Rocker Moulding~$320.00 Balance of the $3374 was labor.

Looks like you came out a winner on this one John. Heck of a way to go about getting your paint redone though!
When I wrecked my truck Progressive took good care of me. I did send the truck back to the body show twice because they didn't get the distances matched on the front valance and then the bumpers.
