I have a 97 GMC SLE 1500 Step Side extended cab and i want to put a solid locking front ex in. how much work is it?

I'm guess the OP is inquiring about a solid front axle that is always driving the front wheels in a 4wd configuration. Some owners of GMmid sized SUVs have done some kind of solid front axle conversions, which I believe eliminate the CV half shafts.

They done a SAS swap on a 94 Full size blazer on Xtreme 4x4. It'* called "Full Size Blazer" and is in 5 parts.

SAS are cool ive done a couple..Alot of companies make all the bracketry or you could make your own.What do you plan on using. Dana 44 or 60
