Small thread - the 99 SLE and a Smart Car
Here'* my only picture that a friend took with his camera phone:
Look at how big the Bonneville seems just by being parked by that thing! I love Bonnevilles. They blend in with other cars so easily, so no one will stare at you as you're driving. I feel privileged to drive such a "regular" car.
It was dark out but this picture turned out unusually well, circumstantially. Some very pompous man was driving it. (Go figure.) Here'* also a Smart Car crash video:

Where can I find some Bonneville crash test videos for comparison? I'm sincerely interested.

the company I work is doing ALL the transportation of these things in the states. I was able to get a HUGE discount on one and reserve one almost a yr ago. Not bad little cars.
Maybe I should've got one???? Nah-lol

You'd probably get more looks in that thing than in a Ferrari

I don't know if we're just starting to get those right now, but I'm sure the gas prices are definitely helping. Is anyone aware of that Monte Carlo aura around MC drivers? It'* even stronger with Smart Car drivers. Weird.

Something about owning a larger car that I love. After driving my Alero for the last month and half steady, it sure makes me appricate what my Bonneville has to offer as far as ride/control and comfort. In other words I probably won't buy a Smart car lol
That is a cool picture though

I like that picture too. I especially like how the mother trucker parked his car nearly perfectly in the parking space. This is good for showing off my car'* size, but nothing else. Does anyone have any input on the ride quality given those gigantic rims and tiny tires? Not to mention the contemporary art-type seats...
