Default interchange question

is the riviera harmonic balancer and timing cover the same as the bonnevilles?

because i dont feel like swapping the front part of the engine agian. and it would save me money on gaskets...

Should be, there was a part number change around 00 to give them a little more harmony..I've run both balancers on one motor. I'd run with it and not worry.

I know with the Series 1, the answer is NO. Series two might be. I dunno.

I read the post above. But I thought this would be a good time to state the other half of the story, in case there are any 95 Rivier owners here. I'd rather not have them assume the same holds true for them.

That post was to John.

It'* easy to see your point though with the year of the motors not being stated. Heck.. someone would probably see that it'* a 90 Bonneville and overlook the Series 1 altogether to assume it'* an early 90i motor we are talking about when it'* actually a couple of Series 2 motors going into a swapped car.
