Default Series III N/A specs

My GP has the 3800 Series III in it. what are the specs on that and is it as reliable as its ancestors? I know it gets good gas mileage as it has gotten about 415 miles on a tank of gas. and I hope i put this in the right forum. thanx in advance guys

It'* pretty much the same as the n/a L36 that came in the 95+ bonnies.
The good news is they replaced the composite upper intake with a an aluminum one so theres no chance of faliure and the throttle body was changed to drive by wire. (electrical)

I hope to pay cash for a 2004/05 GTP in a year or two...once I save up enough money.

I looked at one of those, but the one i wanted was 16,000 with only 18,000 miles on it but the regular GTPs are kinda base looking to me, just like the GTs, unless u get the Comp G. I guess i am used to the 97-03 GTPs that came standard with almost everything like HUD and Steering Wheel Controls and all that but the one i looked at at the dealership had none of that, but the GT i looked at somewhere else didnt have that either and was only 10800 and we go to church with the guy so i got a good deal on it, they were wanting 14800 for it, and the deciding factor was the price drop

That is an exceptional deal for an 04 Grand Prix. Nice ride indeed.
