Default ? on Series II years

Did they have SCed series II cars mid year in 95? I though they didn't have them until 96' on most years and 97' on others. I have someone telling me the had Series II SC cars in late in 95' models and I don't think they did.

I know they had Series II L36 in late '95, but I'm not sure about the Series II L67. Someone else will have the answer.

I've heard that series II NA was all year 95, and that SC series II was not out until 96. My FSM shows the available motors as VIN K, L and 1 being the L36, L27 and L67 respectively.

Since the series II SC (I believe, but not positive) is still a VIN 1 L67 I guess it'* possible. In my FSM they do not mention 2 different superchargers, only the series I is mentioned.

I'd leave the final determination to some senior members, but preliminary look, I'd say series II SC wasn't until 96 unless Mickey Mouse and his buddies were involved.

Hang on, found this site in another post. SC not until 96.

the L27 came 92-94 with the 4t60-E attached to it
and L67 Series one came in 92-95, the 94-95 have a higher HP rating due to some different induction parts......,trans in the 4t60-HD

the L36 started in 95 and continues up into 2005

the L67 Series II started in 96 with the 4t60-E and then changed to the 4t65-E in 97

the NA SER2 was in all non supercharged Bonnes in 95...the SER1 L67 had its last year in the 95 Bonne SSE SC'* SE SC'* and SSEi'*........I keep thinking if I were buying one in 95 I would really struggle on paying the difference for an engine with only 20 more hp.....but I am glad mine came supercharged!
