Security is the built-in alarm. SSEi'* all have them.

Theftloc prevents anyone from stealing the factory deck. You must know the code to be able to use it.

The Security light blinks as a reminder to you to lock the car. When you do, the system is armed. You should find when you lock the car that it goes from a blinking light to a steady light to show that the system is armed, and after 20 seconds it will go out and stay out until you return and unlock the car.

Cutting power to the deck (through either disconnecting the battery or simply stealing the unit out of the dash) will prevent it from operating again until you enter the TheftLoc code via the keypad of the stereo. If you don't have the code, the dealer can obtain it.

Do you have an owner'* manual for this car? If not, go to http://www.helminc.com and order one (or hit up the dealer for one, if that'* where you bought the car from).
