Default Scanners..Handheld or computer based?

I was wanting to get input on scanners.

I want to buy something that gives realtime sensor readout. I have a laptop computer to run a PC based scanner.

What do you use or recommend and why?

AutoTap is the most complete and widely used. There others that are cheaper and have most of the usefull parameters such as Digimoto.
If you do a search on code readers you should find some more info.

I would also appreciate input on handhelds. I didn't really say so in my original post. Prices and where is the best place to buy would also be helpful info.

BTW- I will be using it on a 95 model ssei.

Thanks!!!
