Default Recalls

Please be sure that there are no recalls out on your car here:
http://www.cars.com/news/recalls/recalls.jhtml
looking at just the bonnevilles, i came up with the following year/recall:

96 alarm system
98 fuel pressure regulator
99 bad wheel studs
00 bad abs hydrolic modulator
02 airbag inflation hazard
02/03 fuel pressure sensor

please note, that these are just a key few. i cannot express how important this is. i ended up having to shell out money because of my tempo seatbelt and 93 taurus motor mounts, which were under recall that had expired before i found out about them.

Haha, my motor mounts on my 93 Taurus went out as well

The nhsta.org website has recalls for every vehicle and common complaints.

I already knew about the seat materials not meeting the flamability regulations.

Consumer Guide does a good job.

i believe you just contact your dealer, and tell them you want to get the recall on your seat material taken care of<in the interest of safety of course>, and its self explanitory from there. right?

Is there a recall for the bad baffles in the fuel tank and/or the fuel strainer on a '92. Sorry I'm too lazy to look.

Default Recall on Delphi Fuel Pressure Regulator

Thanks for the recall info, I got a notice in the mail today about the fuel pressure regulator on my 1999 SE. This one looks like it needs to be looked at carefully.
