anyone else get a recall letter in the mail?

fuel pressure regulator needs to be changed, im not sure what years or trim though

98 and 99 L36'* I believe. That'* an old one. The FPR can leak into the intake, and when you start, the upper intake manifold (plastic) will explode.

oh. then why am i just getting the letter?


i know the upper intake manifold tends to crack on the L36'*, were they ever recalled?

I had this done a little over a month ago, kinda scary if you think about it. The new unit looks different then the original factory unit.

thats really weird, i know my car was sitting at the lot since last summer, you would think that dealer or previous owner would have gotten a letter to replace it

now i have to take time out of my busy schedule (read: sleeping) so i can take my car to a dealer

Anyone remember that pic posted a LONG time ago of the upper intake that exploded!? That was pretty nasty if I remember it correctly.
