From: Machesney Park, Illinois Ride:_1993_Bonneville_SSEi got boost?

I first got addicted to Bonnevilles when My mom bought a White '92 SSEi. I liked it alot. My aunt was selling a red 92' SSEi and I bought it. Wrecked it a few months later. Spring 07 I bought my current one. a '93 Green SSEi

The car was basicly left-over from my aunt'* estate, unwanted by any other member of the family. In retrospect, it was their loss and my gain. The car has served me well, better than a lot of new cars.

my 94 jimmy had been totaled and rebuilt ....then the trans let go, i was really feeling like it was one bad thing after another.
talked to the bank of Pa, and started to look around....another truck, maybe a VW ....i drive past this car lot everyday, see he has a fleet of jettas and golfs in the lot ...all high teens and 20s
then off to the side i see this plumb coloured car off to the side and a wicked looking grille
i walk over and look at it at forst thinking its a grand am, then i saw SSEi....i immediatly look at the window sticker, and my heart sinks.....the dealer is walking over to me and i tell him i dont want to waste his time....way out of my range....and start to walk away.
he says whats the range ...and i tell him.....he throws me the keys and says take a look
we strike a deal a bit more than the bank of pa wanted ...but worth the extra bit
still love the stance and that front grille
pbly the best car i ever owned

it had heated seats
probably why I bought my most recent one.
Regarding the 7 other bonneviles i've had in the last 3 years....they were cheap and seemed like comfy good cars that didnt break.

Well let'* see....
I traded a '87 Fiero GT I bought for my first one; a '94 SSEi. The Fiero I had bought was a pile, I bought it because it had 60k miles and was in REALLY good shape. Well, come to find out the Fiero was a pile, brakes were locked up, lines were rotted, fuel lines were rotted, engine needed every seal possible, etc. It was gonna cost me tons of money to get driveable, so along comes markviiisvt4, a member here on BC, offered me a '94 SSEi with 124k for the Fiero, so I took it. It needed work, but I wanted to fix it. After a few months, I got disgusted with it, as it had a electrical short I couldn't pinpoint, so I sold it to another member on BC. It'* still running around somewhere near Columbus I assume.
After that, I had bought a bunch of junk piles. Really screwed up, but ended up selling all but one for more than what I paid for them.
Along comes another BC member, Petraman. He offered me his '92 SSEi for $2200, No rust, undercoated, very VERY clean car. So I bought it and it has been with me since June of '07. I love the car and wouldn't trade it for anything. I have been offered Camaros, Caddies, trucks, etc for this car, and I simply won't give it up as rust free cars in NE Ohio are a rarity.

To be honest it wasn't my choice. I would have had a new(er) Mustang GT. My parents were buying and they wanted something bigger and slower. Don't get me wrong, I love my car, there were just others above it on the list. I always loved the styling but owning one has allowed me to appreciate the rest of the car. I love its class. When it is perfectly clean it is aggressive and sporty looking yet undeniably classy.
