Yes, I did catch that! Put ‘er in the ditch, eh? And I felt the same way as you – “Is everyone OK? Look what you did to my car! Are you SURE you’re OK, ‘cause I’m gonna kill you…” LOL. Not really, but there are a lot of emotions flowing at first sight. The Bonney was our “good” car (other than the 03 Silverado), which makes it tougher. But, once again, glad the people involved in both our cases came out unscathed.

Oh, she’ll drive again. No worries there. But this is good advice nonetheless. Right now all that’* available to her have manual transmissions. She can drive one, just prefers not to.

Another Bonnie to the rescue..... GOD, that'* what I love about these cars!
But another whitey falls by the wayside....... I think it'* time to sell mine, or maybe paint it? Not sure if painting would be enough to eliminate the curse.
LMAO @ Bandit'* comment on the GP......
Thanks for the words. Go with blue. Blue cars never get in wrecks. lol

I hear ya, Bill. At first I thought I wished she had been driving the Star Chief. She would have ploughed right through the other cars like they weren’t there! LOL. But it only has lap belts and those kids would have suffered some serious head & face injuries. She was in the right car, given the situation. As I mentioned before, I’d rather have a dead car than a dead kid. Thanks again, all, for the moral support! It’* much appreciated.

I've got airbags. I can see 'em. Just can't get 'em back in the hole.

NY, eh? How'* the market for rocket scientists? The only other qualification I have is for village idiot, but I think NY already has it'* share of those.

The Northeast is beautiful (used to live there around the time the US was looking for real estate on the moon), but I'm not sure I could give up the wide open spaces of the west. Mountains on our east, and the flat open desert on the west. You can see forever. In fact, my dog ran away last week and *picks up binoculars* ,yep - he'* still runnin'.

Tell you daughter that she will loose that fear in due time and will be driving again..
I just got back from taking her and 3 of the 4 friends that were in the car with her during "the Incident" to school. Her friend'* Neon got a flat in my driveway. They're all ready to swear off cars and ride Segways. LMAO!

None of them feel anything from the accident except, interestingly, they all mentioned they feel a little tense, like their muscles are clenched. I'm sure it had nothing to do with the fact that I was doing 87mph, ran 3 red lights, had a big mac in one hand, a phone in the other, and a cup of steaming hot chocolate between my legs while listening to Alice Cooper'* Greatist Hits on the way to their school. j/k They weren't the least bit nervous in the car (truck), I'm thinking their muscles are still recovering from that instantaneous stress they encountered a couple days ago.

Hannah will drive again when she'* ready. It will probably be tonight when I pop in a couple old Dr. Who videos and make her watch them with me - that should pretty much drive her out of the house and over to a friend'*. Heh, heh.

There we have it....documented proof of child abuse. (Not to mention self-abuse.)

To parents this is known as "tricks of the trade".

Did you learn this from my dad...

He was good with the tricks of the trade ( Mind Games ) Nothing like a little mental abuse to get a kid to grow up to be a good person...lol
:P I assume you're referring to yourself? Rumor around BC is that Jr'* a baaaad, baaaad boy. Sometimes a parent'* efforts are an exercise in futility.

LMAO.
