Default Question for JR's3800 re; the Dex Cool debate

I guess this is how im supposed to ask and where im supposed to ask so as not to break any rules so here goes... Why after posting so many times how good of luck you had with the Dex did you decide to change it to PLL ? I am changing mine out too and did alot of research on the web and here and realize that alot of people say its bad news but others told me to ask you because you knew alot about coolants. So I read all of your posts and it seemed like you were a big fan and stated that you knew people that had 100,000 miles and more with necer a problem and you yourself ran 7 years without an issue. How do we go from that huge sucess to deciding to change it ? I guess im doing it because of all the bad I read but i do see some other than you saying its not the problem others assume it is . I know yo have to sort out whats posted and some post and pose as experts when most of theor advise is wrong, but again, I was told you are "the man" as far as coolants so i hope you will let us in on the answers. thanks so much !

osweld, oldbuick, and boxer are all close personal friends or actually cvc (who was recently banned).

Many thanks to Gumball for nailing this one down with IP searches. We found common IP addresses to all of them except cvc (who was claimed to be a friend of boxers in a PM from boxer to me).

Note that cvc is claimed to be a former Marine, and boxer is claimed to be a current Marine officer. Yet oldbuick and osweld are both claiming to be posting from an Army Reserve unit in NYC, but it'* the same IP as boxer. I believe that boxer'* claim to be 'going over the pond soon' may be an attempt to garner symathy due to our recent loss of Chad Vollmer.

What the actual relationship between these registered users actually is may be in a gray area, but:

Boxer, oldbuick, and osweld are all posting from the same IP. boxer claims to be a friend of cvc. Marine officers don't post from Army reserve enlisted men'* IP addresses.

Good work, Gumball. Very well done.

You may, sir.

Add shadowman to this list. And every failed attempt of each username with cvc in it in the last 2 days.
