Do you HAVE to run the 52 with 5 quarts? I run the 47 and change it every time I change the oil.

The 52 is larger, therefore it'll need some more oil. A 5 qt mobil 1 jug fills mine a hair over the crosshatch.

Don't put 5 quarts in with the stock PF47 filter. Never over-fill with oil or trans fluid. Or any other fluid, either.
