Guys most GM engine I have ever seen have the rods and rod caps numbered from the factory, And the numbers should be facing outside when the roda and caps are reinstalled..
Do you have another Motor or are you rebuilding?
If you are rebulding Please at the very least take the 2 rods that spun bearings down and have them resized
