Default Prescription for window tint

I've heard rumors about being able to get a prescription for window tint for people with sensitivity to light from their eye doctor. I've tried to dig up some info about this and whether or not this would be a possibility in PA? My eye'* aren't sensitive to light, but my skin is practically translucent.

My thought is, if they can write a script for sensitive eyes, why not for skin highly susceptible to burn? I wouldn't want limo tint, but similar.

Do any of you know about this? Know where I can find out more about it? Do any of you have a script for tint?

Here'* some info on window tinting for PA : Pennsylvania Window Tint Law - TintCenter.com

The site also states: State allows medical exemptions for special tint. For more details about the specific terms of the exemption, consult your state law.

If your Doctor will write it, I stick it in the glove box with a copy of what Kevin referred you to, and tint away. Novel way to get around PA'a BS. I'm running 50% in on the front side windows, and 35% in on the back side ones, and rear. I live in a very rural section in NE PA but still sweat journeys into Scranton and Philly.

Kevin, you come up with the most amazing stuff.

I know I shouldn't hijack threads, but when I read this post it reminded me of when I had a small medical problem a few years back. The doctor told me to drink a lot and do some walking. I got him to write me a prescription for beer and golf. My wife was not impressed.

Please let us know if you manage to get this prescription. This is interesting.
