Changed the oil and trans fluid in the 97 this weekend, man did it need it lol...


Trans oil was nasty...yuk...

If I flush it, it will go, trust me, i can feel it already, its re acting what my 93 did..lol...
4T65-E'* are kinda indescisive as to what gear to go into as well it seems lol....oh well....
its got a year left in it..and i will run it at woodburn lol

I also did mine up this w/e. I'll have to get you pics. Figuring mine got it'* first service around 135,000miles and now a second a year later. My fluid was also not in top shape.
Gets better each time though.

Too bad you couldn't swap trani'* before you let RedDeer go.
Just clean the pan well. Consider dropping the valve body to get another 1/2 litre of fluid out. Use the best quality filter OEM brand. Don't forget to drain the cooler and lines also. Blow it out.
