Attachment 63286 Attachment 63287 Trans oil was nasty...yuk... |
maybe a compleat flush is in order, that does look bad
|
If I flush it, it will go, trust me, i can feel it already, its re acting what my 93 did..lol...
4T65-E's are kinda indescisive as to what gear to go into as well it seems lol....oh well.... its got a year left in it..and i will run it at woodburn lol |
I also did mine up this w/e. I'll have to get you pics. Figuring mine got it's first service around 135,000miles and now a second a year later. My fluid was also not in top shape.
Gets better each time though. 65's hunting for gears? Not sure what you mean there Matt...mine is always very smooth and solid in it's choices. |
Too bad you couldn't swap trani's before you let RedDeer go.
Just clean the pan well. Consider dropping the valve body to get another 1/2 litre of fluid out. Use the best quality filter OEM brand. Don't forget to drain the cooler and lines also. Blow it out. |
I'm afraid of what mine looks like...I have to do this soon too. It looks great out of the dipstick though
