Ok... the piece of trim that holds my power mirror **** has been broken since I got the car.
I ordered the replacement part last week and it came in today ($28 Cdn).
It'* just the door trim, not the power mirror ****... which isn't a problem... except I can't remove the **** from the old broke trim.
There looks like a copper screw hole in the bottom of the trim, and I think that has something to do with it... I think it screws a piece upwards to hold the power mirror **** in, but I can't figure out how-to unscrew or pull back on it. It'* a very small hole... not much is going to fit.
Any ideas?

I'm not too sure on this, but have you taken out the old trim yet, or are you trying to pull the **** out first before you remove the old trim?
I noticed a couple weeks ago my power mirror **** was pushed IN and I couldn't adjust them. I was able to pull out on it and it came out to normal. I think if you push IN on it you'll be able to get it out. I'm just guessing of course. Good luck :?

I've removed the trim piece, but there is a very small torx/hex screw that pushes into the power mirror **** to hold it into the trim piece I'm replacing.
I've tried my torx set and allen wrenchs, but they are either too small or too large.
I was wondering if anyone knew the correct size (or what tool) to use to remove it?
