Tomorrow afternoon I'm changing the oil, so I might as well clean the TB too.
I do know that the coils on my Bonnie are off of a 91 Grand Prix that had a 3.1 engine. Is that bad?? I want MSD'*. just haven't gotten around to it. But I might get them sooner rather than later...especially if those 3.1l coils are messing my car up.

Those coils may not be hot enough for your ignition. Can you find an 8-digit part number on them?

The coils were brand new AC Delco ones I originally bought for my Grand Prix. My Grand Prix was totalled, so I had a bunch of parts laying around. The coils on my Bonnie went bad, atleast 2 of them did, and all I had at the time were the 3.1 coils. The fit perfectly, and the plug wires snapped right on. I didn't change anything. But I do notice a rough idle, nothing major, it'* just not as smooth as it should be. I am going to get MSD coils this week.

I change the sc oil every 3000miles. new sc every 40,000miles. I noticed a rip forming around the harmonic balancer. I changed it today.(pretty easy) also the crank sensor since I had it apart. Alot of power came back. But still not the way it was. New sc, balancer, and crank sensor within 3 days. while i'm at it is there anything else I should change?
