You're considering a mod before making the payments? If I was in jeapordy of getting it repoed, I certainly woulnd't be wasting money on mods! :?

cowl induction hoods should have never made it past the late 70s.

granted i am ridiculous in the extreme when it come to preserving the oem lines of a car. if i had to deviate from that on a bonneville it would be a subtle, functional ram air style hood...

in any event i could never modify a vehicle which had a lein against it. let alone a lein i was possibly delinquent on. :?

I totally agree. If the hood was supposed to be humped,it would have been humped at the factory

for me it is a funtionality thing too. cowl induction hoods were cool when the had a big rubber gasket sealing them a top an air filter assembly feeding a carb. they also worked better with the overall lines of the cars from that era.

something along the lines of the G8 concept hood would look cool. of course for me to fully accept it it would need to be on the left side of the hood only and feed the air box.

This is for once I'm caught up I paid a payment today, and next week I'm paying the other one I'm behind and then I'm caught up.
