Default platnum series Bonneville

has anybody seen a 'platnum' series Bonneville before? I saw the first one ever for me today. It was parked on the side of a road. it was a 2000+ model year, and it had a fake convertible top on it, had "platnum series" badges on it, and had a two-tone paint job. It was definately different looking since I've never seen one before.

I've been looking around, and buick has a 'platinum series" LeSabre that has the same badges on it. Looks like they stole badges from a LeSabre and made up their own trim for that Bonnie. wierd...
