Peter Mudock'* right, you can get them patched up. Let me ask a question while we're on the subject, are windshileds with HUD, different?

If you're interested, I just had the front windshield replaced on Cathy;* Acura Vigor last week at an Auto Glass place in Brampton for an amazing $175.00 plus tax with a reciept. If you're interested I can give you the number and contact name.

the chip can not be fixed because it has crackes coming out from it (happend instantly) Also i already got a quote from speedy $543.37 installed only bitch is that my good friend that works there when on a two week vacation the same day it happend
I also got a qoute today from work and my boss got me a great deal for a windsheild for $240+tax then i would just have to get the glass guy at work to put it in for me...but me and him dont get along like Peas and carrots so i dont know how that will go

And Frank, Yes there is a differance with a HUD windsheild in that it lets you see the image properly

And Murdoc the parking break wasnt on so thre wouldnt be a warning light or ding

Yes, HUD windshields have a special coating on them. If you install a non HUD windshield into an HUD Bonnie, it will be very blurry

The windshield can be repaired as long as it doesn't have a crack bigger than 6" and should not cost very much. My last glass repair was about $35. I got it fixed right away so that sucker wouldn't have the chance to run and then it would cost me a lot more.

You're windshield din't look all that bad Peter, I think it will eventually spred though. At least it gives you time to look out for a great price on a new one.

Good luck.

Way do go Peter, I think I may have to do that one day also, gonna have to get pricing when I have a chance. As for the windshield, I would imaging you'd have warranty, but if you're unsure then go with the 240 plus tax installed

Thanks for the pictures.
