Default PEI AR-5 thingy mo wopper

I just noticed on my fuel inject fuse that there was a wire (not originally there cause it was plugged in front) running from there to a small square box thing that is mounted next to my battery and is about half an inch with the words PEI AR-5, is connected to the battery, a ground, and has a small circular connector with nothing plugged into it.

It has some small diagram type thing on it.

Any idea wtf this thing is? Ima go disconnect it

Wow your a regular dipshit... Use your deductive reasoning skills there... if its a foreign wire plugged into my fuel injectors and has nothing plugged into the circular port that it provides, it would be safe to assume that it can be disconnected.

Its most likely for a security device but I posted so someone could shed some light on the matter.

Kuhl, PEI is an automotive electronics parent company, but I can't seem to narrow anything down from there. Can you snap a pic of the thingy?

Sorry guy, I dont have a digital camera just yet. Im a college student and havent got a job for the summer yet. Next week ima have one so maybe I will just update again when I get a pic of it. But i can try to describe it.

Its about 1/2 by 1/2 little box that is about 1 inch deep and has 4 wires coming out of it. One to the battery, one to the fuse box, one to ground, and another that is a hookup that is circle about 1/4 inch in diameter. It also has some sort of diagram stuff on top.

Ah well, I disconnected it and my car runs fine so it aint no biggy.

Saying something about advanced automotive systems, NEXUS, high resolution radar systems.....I dunno lol. If its the same thing, they use it for automobile networking in Europe.

It would be something completely different
