Default Passenger side Rear door won't open.

The door will not open from either handle the PO said it never worked for him either, i stuck a flat head between the seal and the door to try the child lock, i engaged it and the handle woudln't move, i then disengaged it and the handles moved but the door still won't open, so now im wondering how to remove the inside door panel or the outside door handle.

Any suggestions?

umm with the back seat taken out im sure it would be much easier....but i have no idea on how to, ive never tried.
just go out and take off all trim, light cover, plastic handle etc. and slightly pull on the panel to pop those plastic clips out of the door. unplug the electricals and the panel should come right out. im almost certain the rod had come undone or is misaligned somehow. Sorry i cant help you with details, but its about all i can guess as of now...

Here are some removal / install documentation I had made up for the procedure.

I have also had similar problems. It sounds like you may need a new bumper kit installed on your door lock assembly. One thing that worked for me in the past is if you take and put the window down, reach in and start to lock and unlock the door as fast as you can while repeatedly pulling up on the outside door handle. I know it sounds a little strange but it worked for me in the past.
