Jim...he'* dedicated.. I couldn't sway him to use the stock wiring and since I didn't use the Hella relay..i tossed him to Pat...I figured Pat'* wired enough stuff...he could probably tell Tony wire colors...lol

I remember when I installed those (on the last one) it was a PITA, mainly just squeezing my hands inside the bumper and blindly bolt them up to the brackets. And a few days later an LED blew and I had to uninstall it and do it all over again I didn't use stock wiring either. I wanted the high beams and the fogs to work together. They are worth it. The light output is amazing, and the rings are just cool.

I like the LEDs you did! I like the blue, but I think I'm going to stick with the red.

C'mon guys..the SSE/SSEi body cladding is by far the easier of the installs vs. the SE cladding.

As for scraping up your hands..and tight, blind spaces... let'* get real here..... try it on another car.

Ever try doing plugs on a 3.1 GA from the late 90'*.. you can't see and barely feel the back plugs..it'* all braille and contortionism.

It was MUCH easier the second time. No problems at all. The first time I tried to do it was harder, plus I wasn't using the best tools. I agree it'* much easier than the SE.

Thanks Pat. Also thanks for the wiring help too!!

I just didnt want to run more wire than the system could handle. On my Eclipse, I had those ricer wiper spray lights that I wired into my Fog harness and what I found afterwards was a melted fuse holder, but what surprised me the most, it didnt pop the fuse :? I just didnt want to run into the same problem.

Im loving the lights!!

As far as the spot Im going to wire in a switch and do the rear doors as well. I like a uniform look.

I'm still thinking a rheostat to adjust the brightness is the way to go on the LED'*

I was thinking about that when you last mentioned it, but I just looked on Ebay and found very little for allot of expense. Whats involved? Does it have to be rated for a specific voltage etc?

Ok.. what resistor are you using in front of your LED'* to get them that bright? Get a potentiometer aka rheostat that will do approximately that resistance at it'* lowest setting. Then put the pot in line to add more resistance with a light turn of the pot. the lights will dim.
