Oil questions
I average about every 4000 miles to change my oil. I get the stuff for high mileage cars and let them grease & lube the necessities. My odometer is broken and it was 118,000 miles when I bought it 2 years ago. I know I put on at least 20,000 miles per year easily. I love when that DIC tells me its time for an oil change.

If your going to be doing your own oil changes from now i would suggest a few things.
1) Get the Fram suredrain kit for 14 bucks.
2) Get a fitted oil filter cap with a 3/8 socket end
3) Get a reusable plastic oil capture pan so you can drop off the old oil to any gas station or autozone.
I use synthetic valvoline and usually change my oil when the DIC says im at 20 percent. Usually equates to about 6k miles...

Huh....interesting, I've been changing every 3k with full Synthetic for a long time. Its been drilled into my brain to do so...maybe because I grew up driving a 1970 Dodge, or the fact that you really don't wanna be using the same oil too long if you run nitrous at the track every weekend in the summer.
Either way I think I'll shoot for every 5k now.

My car sits considerably lower with the summer wheels, I've done some damage in the past when trying to park at work. Each day my chin spoiler gets a little roughed up.
Slightly off-topic, but how can I set my DIC to let me know when to change the oil? I know I have the option, but I never set it up....plus it would just be cool.

Not sure which one I have, but probably the 8k. More than double what we need. These work great front and rear.

How much are a set of ramps? Those aren't very tall ones either, but i like the block sticking up on the end. My dad was always wary of driving up the old Transport onto the big metal ramps we have.....
