I've got an extra pan. My gasket is good. It'* been replaced very recently and I've checked it out. It'* just getting the pan up there and not having the gasket slip out of place really frustrated me last time. That'* why I'm trying to go this route.

You understood right. I didn't know what oversized meant, if it was thread or hex head or length or what.
Wait, would the oversized hole need drilled? If that'* the case I gotta take the pan off anyway to clean out shavings.

Frams website says SD-1 for at least 92/93. I didn't read further.

Mine is an SD1, i know that the older drain plugs use 1mm bigger wrenches, one would assume the threading is larger too.

I used my Sure Drain for the first time a month ago. Damn it was nice.

Is there any reason I would want to take it out ever? If I JB Welded it into place, it wouldn't leak.

If you got the extra pan, i'd suggest doing it the right way. Maybe use some liquid gasket or something on the oil pan gasket to get it to stay put on the pan while you put it on.

I don't see a reason to take it off, but what if you got something in the valve and it was stuck open? Gonna JB weld it closed then? Half assed jobs always come back after long enough, to me atleast.
