Default Oil for '97 Bonneville

I have a '97 Bonneville SE with 178,000 miles on it. Im about to do an oil change and was wondering what you guys think would be the best oil. Do you run high mileage oil, synthetic, a blend of it, or just natural oil?

Overall, regular oil will be fine. Some choose semi synthetic and others full synthetic. It really comes down to your choice and price range.

Alot of people have the misconception that synthetics are far superior to dino juice. Lab figures show they have a very slight edge out of the can, but their only real advantage is life.

For cost of synthetic vs. changing dino oi every 3 k, I think it'* cheaper to go full synthetic anyway. I use whatever name brand syn is on sale at WallyWorld and let the oil monitor tell me when to change it.
