wheels carried over form 89-91

new wheels for 92-93

NOTE:this wheel also comes in gold instead of the silver between the spokes

NOTE: the center caps were different in 92 as they has the words ABS on them and the 93 were blank
these wheels also came in body colors

NOTE: these wheels also came with a black center cap

NOTE: these wheels also came with a black center cap

From the top:

1st pic is correct. (green car)

2nd pic is actually a steel wheel with a hubcap. This is not a carryover wheel, but does look similar. (blue se)

3rd pic is correct. (red se)

4th pic is correct. (green se)

5th pic is correct, but could be colormatched to the car in 92. (red car)

6th pic is correct, but your narration is a little off. 93 wasn't blank, unless the caption goes to the other photo? (white car?) These ABS center caps were available in 92 and 93 in both black and brushed aluminum, with opposing color ABS.

7th pic green car with the gold crosslace. These caps were also either brushed aluminum with black ABS text, or black, with bright ABS text.

8th pic beats me. I'll take your word for it.

1. Is ok (ABS was optional on SE'*. Availabel on SSE and SSEi standard)

2. ok (but those are called wheel covers)

3. ok

4. ok

5 as will and john stated, SSE-SSEi specific rims. Color matched with body color or cast aluminum.

6 ok (same as 7)

7. ok

8. Didnt make these rims until 94 for SSE or SSEi and the chrome opt started in 96.

I know but they were 2 different center caps. the 92 has ABS printed on them with hte words "Antilock braking system" and the 93 center caps are blank no writing on them
This only applys to the silver option. The body color center caps never had any knid of writing

Its called switching rims. I didnt do it though, the dealer did it and I was glad. Other than that, the car still would have been sitting in that lot still. That car was suppose to have the ugly white rims like johns car.

Lookagain on those original rims and the original car that it was on. See if it was on the SSE and if it had anti-lock brakes or not. Key to the trim level specialist thingy is details.
