anyone else have trouble with the hood vibrating at high speeds? like this morning i was goin bout 80 and it was shut fine but it was vibrating enough to make the car shake.
Check the adjustement of the two rubber stops behind your headlights, too. The hood should be firmly pushed against them. Get some play-doh (no kidding) and a little vegetable oil or Pam spray. Put a little on a paper towel, then rub it on the rubber stops and the pockets in the hood. This keeps the playdoh from sticking.
Now make a small ball of playdoh, about the diameter of a marble. Place a piece on each rubber stop, and GENTLY close the hood until it latches. This will tell you if you have a gap or not. Check the thickness of the playdoh to determine how much to adjust. Repeat as necessary.
