Thanks Gonneville for the info on that commercial. I only saw it once and I didn't even realize there was a Bonneville GXP in one of the stalls! Wow - I would love to have a copy of that! Anyone have one?! But yeah, no advertising whatsoever for the Bonneville in years and years - such a shame! Same thing that went on with the F-bodies - GM doing what it has done time and time again... Sad and hard to watch...

Regarding the price on this particular GXP... it'* a great deal for the most part - plain and simple. You have to realize though, that you will want to keep it for quite sometime since it is a discontinued model - or else it will look bad on paper if you try to trade it in say in 2 or 3 years. But if the Bonneville GXP is the car you want when you weigh your options - it is the way to go at that price. Sure you can try to get a little something more depending on how much negotiating went on to get to that price. Maybe you can get them to go with $25k - maybe you can only get them to throw in window tint - or maybe you can say - Ok, I'll pay that if you throw in an extended warranty. Take any or all of those approaches - but you should at least get a little something and that will just be the icing on the cake - because it is still a great deal!
