We bought ours in July, 2005 for about $30K, it was a year old with no miles, the warranty was from the date we bought it.
I love the car and we would have probably paid more for it 'cuz it was the machine I wanted...

WHY ???
That is the ultimate question. This is 07, the car is now 2 years old why was it not driven or titled. Was it wrecked ?... Damaged upon delivery to the dealer ? or is this dealer just that bad at selling cars ?
"If it looks too good to be true it probably isn't"
Make sure you do your research on any car that they haven't sold anywhere for that long. Most dealers would have traded it to another dealer by now.
Also why should you pay full price for a two year old car no miles or not ?
My personal thoughts on buying a car.....you need to always think of the worst case. You buy the car, make 1 payment and have to sell it, if you pay more than private party value for the car.. your hosed.

If you buy ANY new car, make one payment and have to sell it, you're screwed unless you had a very hefty down payment, which you're about to lose.

Quite simply...these cars were not selling. Thats why you still see them on dealer lots. Plus, a smart consumer these days does not want a V8 (I exclude all of us in that statement)....so where does that leave them? With not very much....and hence why the car is still on the lot.

There are still a few NEW Bonnie GXP'* in my area. Ashame that you can't look up on the pontiac website. My mom bought hers just over a year ago for just under 27. It was a demo and have 4k miles. It only has 11k now! She really needs to drive it more.

Just a point to bring up, as that'* not the dealerships discretion, it will be up to GM rules as to when the warranty goes/went into effect.

And the reason they didn't sell? No ads. The only time a Bonnie GXP ever appeared in a GM ad was in a garage in the background behind a GTO. There was alos a GP GXP in the garage. They open the doors of the garage, intro the the Bonnie, intro the GP, and then the GTO does a 180 that ends by sliding backwards into the middle stall of the garage. And that is the only time a Bonnie GXP was ever advertised by GM.
