The deed is done. Everything'* back together, started right up. IAC is actually much quieter than it was, so now my car doesn't sound like a pulley is about to fly off when it'* first started lol. Took it for a 15 mile drive after changing the oil. I didn't notice any difference when I first started driving, but by the time I got back into the neighborhood, I was getting that tingly feeling that you get when you did something that rocks lol.

I don't have to drive it ~100 mi all in one night, do I?

Personally, I would have put cheap crap in it first, then Mobil1 in 100 miles or so.

You'll most definitely feel the difference when it learns. Even with the wrong gearing on your trans. Get that gearing issue fixed, and you'll be a happy camper.

Nice job. Glad it is running well. Did you have any issues lowering the LIM into place while inserting the elbow?

Yes, but then I sat and thought about it and put the elbow in the tensioner first. That made it a lot easier.

And I'm still feeling differences in the way it'* running as I'm up to about 60 miles now.
