New larger Hayden Performance Transmission Oil cooler, with enough Valvoline Synthetic oil to top off tranny fluid, Mobil One Extended Performance 10W30 Synthetic oil with a over-sized NAPA Gold oil filter (1995 Chevy Blazer 4.3L filter to be exact).

Transmission cooler installed, engine/transmission warmed up for tranny fluid filling and engine oil draining.
Here are a couple pics.
I cut the original upper trans cooler line close to the cooler so less rubber can go bad, and ran the new rubber around the radiator to the end of the lower line that comes from the transmission. Already had the rubber in the middle of the to lines to trans replaced so my transmission, lines and cooler are all fresh.
Tranny cooler install is only a 1 beer job. 2 beers and you are working WAY to slow. :P

He bypassed his with a large rad cooler. I'm not sure if yours is large enough?
Yes, bypass the radiator completly. Not only does it help warm the fluid you're trying to air-cool, but if the radiator does develop a leak between the transmission cooler and the inside of the radiator, you'll start running coolant through your tramission and vice versa. An unlikely occurance, but one that has happened to me in my 91 Lumina and caused the failure of my transmission.
