The TT wheels make a big difference.
I was going to leave the luggage rack off, as I'm not a fan of them. The only thing that made me put it back on is that it is an original GM accessory luggage rack to this particular car. They are very hard to come by, and it'* grown on me a bit. Would I ever put one on a car that didn't have one or reinstall one on a car that someone put an aftermarket rack on? No.
The Corvair the day I bought it... :\

kind of same boat here
Wifey bought the ssei about 10 years ago new, and has been driving it all those years racking up almost 160,000 miles. With it leaving her stranded twice this spring, MAF sensors, she has been very nervous driving it long distances. Not to mention how bad it handles in the snow, dedicated snow tires help, it still sucks. Anyway, we picked her up an 06 Equinox with AWD. She keeps comparing the Bonneville to it, apples and oranges. Anyway, original plan was to trade it in on the Equinox. We knew we would get nothing for it, with the mileage and being wrecked once (sucky snow handling). Than the dealer told us flat out they would not give us anything for it, so we decided to try Craigslist. I took the car to get the tires balanced, on the way home I got to thinking. She LOVES this car. Why not keep it? It'* paid for. Insurance isn't bad. It'* OK on gas, average is about 24mpg. Much better than the 16 my Jeep gets. So I asked her if she would mind handing the keys over to me and keeping it. She didn't hesitate. Wooohoooo! Much more comfy and better fuel mileage. It'* got it'* little issues here and there. It gets to stay in the family, and I get something better. Out of all the cars we have had, this is the only one she has really been attached to. Mileage is up there. I'm sure it'* going to start showing other more expensive issues here and there. I would much rather have them happen to me, than her.

Thats a Corvair, dont see too many around. That one is very cool probably a 67 or 68 either a Monza or Spyder but not sure. FYI, those cars have a flat 6cyl engine, mounted out back, some are turbocharged.

Thanks for the compliments. I've got a lot of time in her.
Some specs: 66 Corsa Convertible, 140hp 4carbed engine, 4 speed trans, 2 inch drop in front with new HD drop springs, 16x7 TT II"*. Otto 20 cam. Nothing too crazy.
Spyders were produced from 62-64, first gen body style. ALL of these were 150hp turbocharged and only came with manual trans. When the new body style came out, the Spyder name was changed to Corsa. The funny thing with the Corsa is that it came standard with the 140hp 4 carbed engine, the 180hp turbo engine was optionals. The Corsas were only produced in 65 and 66. Again, like the Spyders, the Corsa was only availible with a manual trans. Total Corvair production span ran from 1960 to 69. Cars, trucks, wagons, vans were all produced. A car that was very ahead of it'* time.
