Well I got my bonne to a cerified truck scale this evening around 7:30pm thanks to my step-father who is a professional driver. I bet you will be surprised like I was to the results. This 99 SE with a 1/4 tank of gas and completely empty trunk (spare tire and jack included) weighed in a 3400 lbs.

Ive had a pretty rotten day, but today my bonne made me very happy with this weight.

Yea Ive only did runs with the bonne with the g-tech. no matter what I do I spin pretty bad though, the only thing I havent done is take air out of the front tires, of course if I did that Id probably have better traction on take off huh
7.6 is general Ive have 7.55 to 7.6 secs

Thats way faster then me though
I only managed 8.3 for my best run
But then again there was a slight incline and Im sure that helps kill my time. But it was the safest place I can run at the time.
How do you launch anyway? What are those valve cover breathers for? Im still new at this can you tell?

I brake torque to 1800 to 2000 rpm'* (car seems to drag a little higher then that) Valve Cover breathers do the same function that the PCV Valve does. It helps relieve pressure from the crankcase. Most newer setups use a breather filter in place of the PCV Valve but I noticed that there are valve cover breathers you can buy for the 3800 so I opted for this instead. The ones I saw for the 3800 where kinda pricey at 30 bucks so I got a universal one from pepboys for 14.
Hey its cool, Im still new at dealing with the 3800'*. This is a whole different animal then the engines that ive dealt with in the past. But Ive always wanted a 3800 powered car and couldnt be any happier with it

I got a 7.8 Gteched, you shold be around there too.
3400lbs? I gotta questoin accuracy somewhat. My 93 should be lighter if everything equal, and stripped down for racing I was 3500 without a driver.

well the big rigs have to get an accurate weight reading or be subjected to a fine, so Im not questioning the accuracy. And if it is off, it cannot be off by too much. The 3400lbs surprised me to.
