Ya for sure Dick, I can find many cheaper ways to do that!!!!!!!!

With all do respect, why would you wanna do a useless mod, with no benefit to an otherwise decent perfance vehicle other than to **** people off.......why not just sit outside the old folks home and blast your subs and car stereo at full blast with all the windows and doors open!

Not to mention illegal in most (if not all states) because you would be running no cat....and "excessive noise, exhaust."

i dont care if its a waste of money, or if its illegal or if it even hurts my performance, my car at its best maybe if im lucky is pushin 165hp. so im pretty sure i dont plan on racing it and i just miss the sound of when my muffler rusted out cuz i guess im a loser like that. and im probably gunna put it after the cat anyway just cuz i think thats where ill find the most room. any positive suggestions/ comments? is there no love on bc?

I think when you said you are using it to **** people off is when you lost the love. Im all about the sound, but not to cause more anger. Theres plenty of that already.
But here'* my 5 mins of work for ya because i dont like making people mad...

Check this one out.

Then you could add a trumpet pipe to amplify the sound even more .........go all the way and install a spark plug in the trumpet, aim the dump pipe towards the sidewalk and use it to add a little flame to your bark.

But remember you will kill your bottom end torque. Only boosted engines would truly benefit as stated in the sales literature for the Y dump valve.

Power Gains
30HP on a WRX
13HP on a LS1 Trans Am
20HP on a SRT4 Neon
75HP on a Turbo Honda
3 Tenths gain at the track for a VW1.8T Jetta
35HP on a Ford Lighting

ok, maybe i went to far by saying i want to **** everybody off. it just think it would be funny to pull up to a light next to a rice rocket and when they look over and see a rusted out '88 bonneville with straight pipes i just want it to **** THEM off.

this is purely for sound and not power gains, and since it will be placed after the cat and near the muffler there should be minimal to no power loss

now THAT would be fun, teh 3800 is throaty. Thats along the same lines as the very large speaker system i wanted to install to play a spooling jet engine sound with some faux flames from the back of the car....
