Default MSD coils

I posted here for faster response......you can move it if you want
Thanks....
Anyways i phoned the best local parts store for a price on everything i want
3 MSD coil pakcs and a set of 8.5mm MSD wires
He said he could only track down coils for a 1997 SSEi, and that there was no listing for a 1993 SSEi...so I need to know will the ones for a 1997 work on my 1993???
Also is 8.5mm wires a good choice? or should i stick with 8mm.

The price per coil pack is : 71.43 X 3 = $214.29
And for the 8.5mm wires : $80.0
Total for all parts : $294.29 CAD
Thats $224.84 USD.
Good deal or does it sound a little high......also i recive a 10% discount at this auto parts store.

I spent like $110-120 for the coils ('93 ssei) and $73 for unversal v6 8.5mm wires. It took like 10min to create all the wires, its easy. www.summitracing.com has them all. Matter a fact they just lowered their price $65 for the wires: http://store.summitracing.com/partde...rt=MSD%2D31079

and its $38.95 for the coil packs:

There ya go, that'll save some change. Oh and its free shipping, not sure about canada though.

Try Jegs, too. Or direct from MSD. You want the coil in my sig, same as 97.

That guy is ripping you off. MSD coils are actually cheaper than GM coils from gmpartsdirect. And they produce a hotter spark than the 97+SSEi stock coils.

Well on Sumit Racing the final tally is 182.24 + CAD funds = 235.00 plus 23.40 of shipping wich is 258.40...not a huge diffrence...

150 or less for the Coils, and you can get MSD wires from Jegs for 53.

This is in USD btw...

Any 3800 wire set will work. Or grand prix 3.8 or whatever, Series II will be slightly longer, but I prefer the extra length actually. Makes it look sweet all curved.
