Deceided to see what performance shift does last night. I was at a stop sign and deceided to see how long it would take me to get to the speed limit of fifty. WEEEEEEEEEE, I love the sounds I hear. I can hear the Super charger, and the yummy muffler sound. I had never, never done that before. She gets up and goes. Could not believe it. It was kinda scarey. Thats alot of power. At least for me. Im used to driving four bangers.
Fun

Cruise gently on up to 40mph and let er coast back down to 35mph then punch it. If taking off the line scares you then you'll need diappers for this. BTW- make sure it is totally clear in front of you.

yeah, performance shift is fun, but i usually keep it in normal cuz in performace u can redline almost too easily. I've only tried performance like once or twice cuz i was bored lol

question though: are u getting the full amount of horsepower/torque in perforamce shift, or normal shift....or does it really matter?

the HP and the TQ is the same you just get a little later shifts in the Perf shift. It dosent even matter in what mode you drive in. The later shifts will only occur at WOT

What is WOT. To afraid to gut the air box until Im out of school. And why would one want to start from 35 is it alot more power or something. PLUS... I am no street racer. Its all about being safe and legal. But it sure is FUN....
