I gotta believe you can drill there. Drill a small hole first and stop just as you go through. Poke some wire through the hole to make certain there isn't anything that you'll hit. Repeat for other holes. You can use the shield for the right side on the left side. They are about 15 bucks from the dealer. The part # is 25640313. :o

Is the OE stuff from the dealer better than aftermarket shielding? If it'* $15, I'd rather pass and get something else. I'll experiment and benefit this thread with an update in my work whorage post. I'll let you know what I come up with. This material can't be that hard to come by in bulk.
